A night of eating, drinking and spreading Koala droppings all over the social-media-verse.
There are two essential components that contribute to the success of a new web product in a competitive landscape:
1. Offering free pizza and beer.
2. Providing a solution that is smarter/better/cuter than all the other solutions in the market.
For the KoalaDeal.com launch, roughly 50 tech entrepreneurs, bloggers, social media gurus, family, and friends came together to blast Koala droppings all over the social-media-verse. The night included an insane amount of Twitter posts, Flickr photos, Facebook posts, news coverage, a live video feed, turntable.fm room (for good measure), video interviews, and some feasting from our friends at PapaJohns.
