A free online gift registry site, it's easy to make kids happy and keep their families sane.

Rubity is an online gift registry specifically designed and developed for parents and grandparents. I as the parent enter thing that my daughter wants for Christmas, birthday, etc. into her Rubity Wish List. Parents can also enter things she already had into her Has List so that others can see the books she has already read or the toys she currently has. Parents then invite friends and family to Rubity so that they may reserve items. This has cut down significantly on duplicate gifts for families who use the site.

In 2009, Rubity was brought in and launched as an Eight Bit Production. With a fantastically talented and energetic team, we re-designed and re-wrote portions of the app and launched it within 6 months. It was an exciting time and we even got news coverage. We spent the better part of early 2010 developing new public features for Rubity, where users can share their wish lists to be viewed by users without logging in. This was a crucial step to Rubity Charities.

In August 2010, Rubity Charities launched. Even before launch, we had some very excited people trying to figure out how to get their organizations on board. Rubity does not charge for any of these services so if you know of a 501(c) charity, send them over!
