Weave The People

Unproductive corporate meetings just got a swift kick in the iOS pants.

Ohhhhh corporate meetings...You know how they go. You head into a conference room with the rest of your co-workers. The lights go down and the power point goes up. Consuming the entire morning, you review sales figures, overall growth, and an occasional speech about how improving your collaboration with co-workers will affect the bottom line.

This may have been acceptable 30 years ago, but newsflash, we're 4 years away from getting Hoover Boards. Welcome to the information age, bitches. It's time to never have a meeting like this ever again.

The problem isn't the meeting. The problem is that NOBODY is being empowered to improve their communication with those who might actually help them be more productive and successful. The kicker to all this is? It's nobody's fault. Unless you're a total socialite, these connections aren't likely to happen unless by complete chance.

Weave The People is out to change all that. Before the meeting, everyone attending fills out a few questions about themselves. Weave then takes that data, combines it with your company history/position and builds a database of connections that you can now use to connect! Through some badass data visualization, they help people not just see the real connections in the company, but make those connections.

We helped Weave The People take that process one step further. Now, instead of being fed this connection list on a projector, you will be able to pull out your iPhone and BEHOLD!! You now have a list of everyone in the meeting with similar career goals, information about starting conversations, and an ability to quickly and easily share contact info. THAT friends, is the future. You are now poised for the year 2015.
