Grisel Gamboa

A Chicago native, Grisel left the Midwest to attend Amherst College in Massachusetts. After graduating, she moved to New York City and got her initial digital project management experience at Nickelodeon Online, where she helped develop applications and trained in the Scrum Agile Methodology.

After falling in love with the agile development process, she went to work for the digital startup buzzd.com, a location based social networking and city search guide for both Web and mobile applications. At buzzd, she was responsible for managing a global team of developers as well as overseeing daily operations. Grisel recently decided to return to her hometown to be part of Chicago’s growing tech community.
